Authentik Artists is a content company that helps independent talent realize the full revenue potential from their recorded music and music publishing assets. We build brand awareness and profile for our clients through digital mediums and music licensing.
Authentik has worldwide digital distribution through INgrooves / Universal which provides sales, marketing and mobile services with over 200 Major and Indie online retailers including iTunes, Amazon and many others. We have secured prominent features on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Rhapsody and other online retailers that have led to exponential growth in awareness, profile and sales for our Artists.
Authentik is partnered with MTV, Bunim-Murray and Fundamental Music for the exploitation of our client’s music through licensing.
Authentik music has been featured in films, network and cable television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), Castle (ABC), The Hills (MTV), Real World: Brooklyn (MTV), Real World/Road Rules Challenge (MTV) and video games such as Superstars V8 Next Challenge (PS3, Xbox, PC, Wii), Tap Tap Revenge, Tap Tap Revenge 2 and Tap Tap Revenge 3 (iPhone/iPod Touch). We have also created branded opportunities for Authentik music with partners such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Airwalk, Journeys and The Independent Coffee Network amongst others.
Team:
Scott Austin is the CMO (Chief Music Officer) of Authentik Artists and is from Los Angeles CA. Scott was previously a Creative Executive at Maverick/Warner Bros and Capitol Records and is credited with the early discovery and/or signing of artists such as Michelle Branch, Tyler Hilton, Eric Hutchinson, Family Force 5, MoZella and others. Scott’s experience in major label A&R allows him to identify and sign top-tier talent while avoiding the financial and development perils of the traditional label model.
Austin has additionally appeared as a host and industry expert on several major network and internet broadcasts including EXTRA, Deepak Chopra’s Wellness Radio on Sirius, CurrentTV, Style Network’s “Making It Big”, G4 Network’s “Attack of the Show”, Slice Network’s “Rocker Moms” season one, and online broadcast “The :90 Music Show with Scott Austin.”
Bob Bradley is Director of Marketing at Authentik Artists. He was previously with Fearless Records as head of new media and as a web manager at Purevolume.com. In addition, Bob toured for many years in a band signed to Victory Records.
Lindsay Thomas is Director of Licensing and International Marketing. Her experience includes project coordination for hit producers/mixers such as Joey Moi (Nickelback), Brian Howes (Hinder, Daughtry) and others while at Brightman Music. Her experience includes stints at Music.com and Ocean Studios and she has a degree from the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA.
Emil Pesiri, Esq, is Director of Legal and Intellectual Property and an active Authentik Artists Board Member. A member of the New York and California Bars, his extensive experience spans law, entertainment and financial advisement.

David Post is Co-Founder and an Authentik Artists Board Member. His extensive experience in private investment management provides an invaluable resource in realizing maximum value from available revenue streams.
Mark Needham is a multi-platinum Mixer, Producer and Engineer. His credits span nearly 30 years of hits at the helm of records by Artists such as Fleetwood Mac, The Killers, Chris Isaak, Metro Station, Iglu and Hartley and many more.
Scott Mednick is a respected entertainment, marketing, media and technology executive, consultant, speaker and author. Mr. Mednick is known for his vision and ability to anticipate new business models and create next generation companies.
Mr. Mednick has completed more than 20 mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and has helped to raise investment capital for both public and private companies primarily focused on entertainment, marketing and technology. He has also served as Executive Producer of such motion pictures as U2-3D, 300, Superman Returns and We Are Marshall.
Ryan Vance is the most recent addition to the Authentik team. Ryan’s experience as Series Producer for TechTV, Executive Producer for G4 Television Network and now VP Programming and Production for online TV network Revision3, coupled with his passion for great music makes him an invaluable resource in identifying technologies and media partnerships that will complement Authentik’s business model.
