The Authentik team is always excited about new announcements in the world of Mac/PC in relation to music marketing, technology and retail. Today marks a big day as Apple is currently hosting a conference showcasing updates with their iTunes store and new editions/prices for iPod devices. One of the biggest applications available for the iPhone/iPod touch is the highly addictive game Tap Tap Revenge (1 and 2). Both editions of the game feature music from Authentik’s own Big City Kids and That Was Something (The Boys of Summer). That Was Something members form new band

A majority of the former members of That Was Something have now officially launched their new band called The Boys of Summer! Go check out their Myspace page to hear some new material and stay updated on the latest happenings. The band will still be playing material from TWS including the song “She Is The West Coast” which can be heard on the hit iPhone game Tap Tap Revenge 2!

That Was Something breaks up

That Was Something have decided to call it a day, however this is just the begining for most of the TWS members. It’s been a very exciting experience working with the guys on what is now their final release as That Was Something.
