Authentik Artists is proud to announce the signing of The Break Mission from Brooklyn, NY. We will be digitally releasing their new 13 track LP Alpha on June 22, 2010. The band have posted the new track “Thieves” on their Myspace page along with a behind-the-scenes clip of their recording and recent touring using the mentioned track.
Alpha was produced by Ben Lindell (MGMT) and the band has been previously featured in Spin, The Boston Globe, CMJ and on a national compilation distributed by Starbucks. Fans of bands like Doves, Band Of Horses, Elliot Smith and Fleet Foxes will appreciate their diverse and forward-thinking indie rock sound.

Authentik Artists continues to add to its fast-growing roster of quality talent with the recent signings of Pete Kilpatrick Band and Portuguese import Girl Meet Girl.
Pete Kilpatrick Band – “Killer sound” is how Kings of Leon describe the music of Portland, Maine-based Pete Kilpatrick Band. Fans of Dave Matthews Band and Coldplay will appreciate the band’s timeless rock sound and add to the already loyal following the band has amassed during touring runs with Guster, Gavin DeGraw, Better Than Ezra, and Blues Traveler. Girl Meet Girl – Fans of Depeche Mode and Duran Duran will embrace the electronic sounds of Portugal-based duo Girl Meet Girl. Their new release Angels With Filthy Souls drops on May 26th and has 8 tracks of industrial influenced electronic rock.
