Meeting of Important People is a nationally touring three-piece indie-pop band from Pittsburgh, PA. The band’s debut single “Mothers Pay More” ignited a media and blogging frenzy in the Summer of 2008, and their current full-length on Authentik Artists has become a much talked about 2009 release. The band has shared the stage with renowned artists such as The Secret Machines and Blonde Redhead while receiving heavy international airplay on XM and terrestrial radio.
MOIP keeps the loud parts loud, the pretty parts pretty, and the people happy.
